Manitoba Teachers’ Society Professional Development Day

Welcome to the MAMT Professional Development Day

Students don’t care. Now what?

In this presentation, we’ll explore strategies that build student self-agency and ownership in learning and assessment as systems for building student motivation and engagement. Real stories of transformation from actual classrooms will be shared. Participants will come away with practical strategies to use in the classrooms centred on learning progressions, reflections and student self-assessment.
