Manitoba Teachers’ Society Professional Development Day
Fractions are notoriously hard to teach – and hard to learn. (No, it’s not just you!) Tired of seeing the same errors over and over in students’ fractions work? Wondering what to do next to help students truly make sense of fractions? Join us for an interactive, research-informed session packed with practical strategies you can use immediately in your classroom. We’ve done the research so you can reap the benefits with your students. Discover how small instructional shifts can lead to big learning gains, and walk away with simple, low-prep, high-impact strategies to try in your classroom that make fractions meaningful for all learners.
